Hello. My name is Jessica “Kanks” McKinney and I am a Journalism student at Cal Poly who just so happens to be quite passionate about music of all genres. I’ve decided to explore the musical realm of San Luis Obispo with special consideration to that of Cal Poly. I make my own music and know there must be more of me floating around out there, so why not write about it, and form the musical connection.
